Day 3
Hello! Thanks for stopping by my brand new, decades old blog! My name is Jill and I have been wanting to start a blog for what feels like decades. I mean it HAS been decades. This is only one of the many things that I struggle with daily.
Since I had my third child in 2001, I have been super tired. I have since had two more children and things haven’t gotten any better. I don’t know what happened to me. I have been to college and finished my degree, but outside of that I haven’t been too productive. It is a struggle to get my home clean, the weight off, and my business launched.
I have been very blessed to have a lovely family. That is the only thing that keeps me afloat and moving forward.
I’m sure you’re asking yourself, “Why does it say Day 3?” Well, I am trying to find a way to get myself better. Trying to find a way to get some energy. The last time I felt really great was in 2015 and my diet was fabulous. Then I went back to school and it derailed. I have been on a downward trajectory ever since. Now I barely get out of my bed. I’ve spent the better part of the last year in it. In desperation for change, I have decided to go back to my previous style of eating: primally. This is basically paleo with dairy. This is Day 3 of changing up my diet. I guess I really shouldn’t call it a diet and call it a lifestyle change.
So far, I’ve lost two pounds. Yay! That’s actually no big deal because I did NOT eat well over Valentine’s Day week and I have inflated numbers. It’s just balancing back out. I’m praying for some energy from my mitochondria to kick in soon!
